Rachel and Nathan’s Orlando Florida Wedding at Bella Collina was a long time coming, and so well deserved. Between cancer, deployments, babies and building businesses, they could not wait to finally be able to celebrate the love, marriage, and family that they had built over the past years. Rachel and Nathan never had a wedding celebration when they initially got married, so this vow renewal was much anticipated and dreamed about.
The journey began in early 2016, when Nathan surprised Rachel with a trip. Rachel had no idea where they were going but Nathan whisked her off on a plane anyways! Much to Rachel’s surprise, they wound up in Orlando at Disney World! Nathan got down on one knee in front of Cinderella’s Castle with a family heirloom ring and asked Rachel to renew their vows.
The day was followed by lunch at Cinderella’s royal table, adventures, and surprises around every corner. They topped the day off with a Dole Whip and then headed back off to the airport.
Planning soon commenced. Thanks to working in the industry, Rachel was able to curate the perfect vendor team for her day. We all came together to design a day that was exactly what Rachel wanted, romantic, soft, and elegant. Bella Collina was the perfect setting for their celebration. From the moment you stepped onto the property, you were immediately transported away. The venue is just outside of Orlando in Montverde Florida, tucked back away from everything. From the brick structures and corridors, water fountains, reflection pools, and luscious greenery, you felt like you were tucked away in a sweet corner of Tuscany.
Rachel had a beautiful idea when it came to her wedding dress, and decided to pair her wedding gown with a skirt from BHLDN. This skirt provided a transformation from the ceremony to the reception and portrait session. It also gave Nathan a sweet surprise! Rachel’s veil was custom made from the lace of her Allure gown.
Rachel’s daughters wore flower crowns and carried sweet rose pomander balls down the aisle for the ceremony.
The first look was two-fold, one with Rachel and her children, and the other with just Nathan. Both, however, were sweet, precious moments filled with so much love and emotion.
Rachel gifted Nathan a gift of a new watch.
The ceremony took place nestled in the Atrium, right in front of the fountain. Sweet words, tears, and loving laughs filled the atrium as the two of them reflected on the life they have created, the promises they have for each other, and everything in between!
After the ceremony Rachel + Nathan explored the grounds of Bella Collina with Susan while guests enjoyed cocktails out by the reflection pool.
The signature cocktail for the evening was the “Still Married Mojito” a favorite of the couple!
Some of the sweetest moments of Rachel + Nathan’s day included their incredibly sweet 5 little kiddos. From the first look to the cake cutting and dances, the kiddos were an intricate part of it all.
Dinner was held in the clubhouse, with a sweetheart table in front of a well-adorned fireplace decorated by Pollen + Pastry. The fireplace was decorated with lush greenery, ivory and champagne roses, and candles to create a romantic feeling that paired just perfectly with the room and aesthetic of the wedding. The tables matched the fireplace with greenery runners, roses tucked in, and hundreds of candle-filled vases.
Immediately following dinner, guests were invited back out to the reflection pool for dancing, photobooth fun, caricatures, and a dessert bar. Cocktail tables were topped with gold metal vases filled with neutral flowers for just the perfect touch. DJ Gary White provided a great environment for the night. All of their guests danced until the very end of the night!
The night was topped off with a sweet sparkler exit right outside of the atrium. Rachel + Nathan were sent off with well wishes and love from all of their guests!
